This Privacy Policy explains what Southington BKMB (“we”, “us”) collects from customers who place an order with our sub sandwich fundraiser, how we use it, and how to opt out of text messages.
Information we collect
When you place an order with one of our student sellers, we collect:
- Your name
- Your delivery address
- Your mobile phone number, if you choose to provide it
- Your order details and payment method
Providing a mobile number is optional. If you prefer not to give one, your order is still recorded and delivered normally.
How we use it
We use this information solely to fulfill and deliver your order, to send you an order receipt and delivery updates by text message if you provided a mobile number, and to keep internal records of the fundraiser.
Text messaging
If you provide your mobile number at the point of sale, you consent to receive text messages about your order. At the time your number is collected, our order form displays this notice: “We’ll text you a receipt and delivery updates. Reply STOP anytime.”
Message frequency varies and is limited to messages about your order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms and Conditions for full details.
Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our text message delivery provider, is permitted solely to deliver the messages you asked for. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention
We keep order and contact information for the duration of the fundraiser season and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and reconciliation. You may ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
